I have to put lots of sticks in and around the flowers to keep mine out. I had some laying eggs in the window box a few weeks ago. So I had to put more sticks in. It works for awhile anyway. And for my herb garden that I planted in a long cattle feeder, I have some chicken wire over it. And lots of rocks too. These chickens are alot of work, but I do love to see them out in the yard catching bugs and being happy.
I don't know how I'm going to be able to fill these pots (usually occupied by herbs in the summer) with these girls ravaging even the dirt.

These pictures makes me eager for my chicks to arrive! I can't wait to get started with them.
