About Me

My photo
Kitchen Mama
I'm a stay-at-home mom of two in southeastern Washington State. I'm committed to creating wholesome food, a healthy domestic environment, a strong connection between my family and our natural surroundings and our community, and to fostering an everlasting love of learning in myself and my kids. Until very recently I home-schooled my kids but they have now started up public school, at their own request. It's an adjustment for all. My husband is a history professor, I'm a baker, knitter, reader, hiker, teacher, animal caretaker. We have two cats, a dog, and five chickens on a tiny bit of land in a small town.
